The Undergraduate Stern Women in Business (USWIB) organization was created to promote female students' personal and professional development by providing networking and social interaction opportunities between students and professionals. By laying the foundation for a powerful network of female businesses, we aim to foster a supportive environment where diverse experiences, perspectives, and resources can be shared.

Adhya Singh
director of conference
Adhya joined USWIB during her freshman year after being inspired by the welcoming, driven community of women passionate about making a difference in the business world. Since then, she’s grown through every role she’s taken on—mentee, mentor, Mentorship Co-Director, and now, Conference Director. Each experience has strengthened her appreciation for the connections, growth, and empowerment USWIB fosters. She is thrilled to lead the 15th Annual Conference alongside her amazing team and hopes to create an uplifting, inspiring experience that encourages the next generation of women in business to dream big and support one another.
Naina Sharma
Conference Corporate relations
Naina joined USWIB during her freshman year, inspired by the organization’s strong community of driven, supportive women who were not only ambitious but also deeply passionate about creating change in the business world. From her very first semester, she found USWIB to be a space that encouraged curiosity, confidence, and connection
Throughout her journey, Naina has been an active member, a mentee, a mentor, and most recently served as part of the External Relations team. Each role offered her a new perspective. Now, as Conference Director, Naina is eager to bring all these experiences together to lead the 15th Annual Conference. She hopes to create an inspiring, dynamic event that celebrates ambition, fosters meaningful connections, and motivates the next generation of women in business to dream fearlessly, build community, and continue uplifting one another.
Mehar Karnani
Conference Logistics
Mehar feels most 'at home' within the USWIB community—a dynamic group of confident, supportive women who have inspired her since her very first year at Stern. Drawn to the energy and impact of USWIB’s flagship events, Mehar returns to the Conference Committee to help bring these empowering experiences to life.
As the Logistics Chair, Mehar combines her love for organization and problem-solving with her passion for fostering connections. She is dedicated to ensuring every detail of the conference runs seamlessly, creating a space where attendees feel inspired and supported. Mehar is thrilled to contribute to USWIB’s legacy by helping make the conference a transformative experience for all, especially for underclassmen just beginning their Stern journey.
She looks forward to strengthening bonds with her fellow committee members while continuing to learn and grow alongside this incredible community of women!
Laura Lu
Conference Branding and Marketing
Laura joined USWIB during her freshman year and has felt a strong connection with the community since then. She felt empowered by the intelligent peers within the club, which motivated her to join the board and help give back to the community. Last year, she had the honor of bringing to life the “Paint Your Path” conference theme, and this year marks her second year as the Branding and Marketing Director. The conference was one of the most memorable events for her, and she is honored to be part of the team planning it.
Jasmine Tan

Jasmine joined USWIB because of its incredibly welcoming and supportive community. Through USWIB, she found a space for women in business who are passionate about making an impact. She looks forward to building close connections with the members, but more importantly, she’s very enthusiastic about her role in assisting with and organizing the conference this year!
