About

The Undergraduate Stern Women in Business (USWIB) organization was created to promote female students' personal and professional development by providing networking and social interaction opportunities between students and professionals. By laying the foundation for a powerful network of female businesses, we aim to foster a supportive environment where diverse experiences, perspectives, and resources can be shared.

Meet the Team

Kasha Bhatia

director of conference

Kasha joined USWIB her freshman year because it was the first place she felt a sense of community and belonging in trying to navigate the overwhelming experiences of college. She has met so many amazing people through the club, including some of her mentors, who have been so supportive and helpful throughout her journey. This year, she is super excited to meet all the new members and help host conference!

Georgina Bern

Conference Corporate relations

Georgina's warmest memories at NYU began with the people at USWIB. In the fast-paced world of New York City and Stern, her encounter with this supportive, encouraging community of strong-willed, insightful women offered her a sense of home and belonging in a place that was so new. Georgina's super excited to share this feeling with other members, to give and ask for advice, to strengthen others' confidence and inspirations as they have fortified hers. She's also looking forward to the community-building events this coming year, especially those involving artsy crafts or paint!

Isabella Orus

Conference Logistics

Since joining her freshman year, Isabella considers USWIB to be one of the most comforting and welcoming clubs at NYU. Throughout her time at USWIB, Isabella has been introduced to many friends, mentors, and opportunities. She is excited for this year's conference and continue to be a part of the USWIB community!

Fiona Kao

Conference Branding and Marketing

The USWIB community has played a significant role in Fiona’s college experience since her freshman year, providing her with a supportive and empowering space to navigate the business world. The meaningful connections she has formed with mentors and friends have truly inspired her to give back to the community that has helped me tremendously. She is anticipating the upcoming conference and is excited to continue fostering a diverse and inclusive environment with both familiar members and new faces.

Hannah Lin

Conference Senior AdVISOR

Hannah joined USWIB after studying abroad and immediately found a welcoming and supportive community. USWIB not only provided an empowering environment, but also invaluable resources on being a woman in business. She's excited to plan conference this year, meet more incredible women, and give back to the USWIB community.
