This practical session will provide tips and review best practices to ace your behavioral interviews. Representatives will teach you general etiquette when interacting with professionals. This workshop guides participants to effectively communicate their skills and accomplishments.
Jessica Ma is an Investment Banking Analyst at Evercore originally from Bournemouth, UK. She studied at Stern and focused on Finance & Statistics with a minor in History. Jessica’s #MakeItHappen motto is “Be yourself; everyone else is already taken”.

“So tell me about yourself...” A question that would seem simple to answer, is typically the most difficult prompt to answer in interviews or in an elevator pitch situation. At EY, we understand the importance of a strong elevator pitch. Our workshop will walk you through three stages of developing and mastering the often difficult question, “So tell me about yourself.”
Mackenzie Bishop is a Senior Consultant at EY, where she advises financial services clients on strategic business and digital transformations. Mackenzie grew up in the California Bay Area and graduated in 2016 from Stern with concentrations in Finance & Management. During her time at NYU, Mackenzie served 2 years on the USWIB Board as Co-Chair of External Relations.
Mackenzie believes anyone can #MakeItHappen by taking control of their personal brand, communicating honestly about their goals and opinions, and asking for help from the people they look up to.
Cindi Zhang is a Tax Staff at EY where she currently works with wealth and asset management clients. Cindi graduated in 2017 from Stern with a B.S. in Business and a M.S. in Accounting. During her undergraduate studies, she also concentrated in Finance and minored in Spanish. In her senior year, she was the Treasurer of both Beta Alpha Psi and Undergraduate Stern Women in Business (USWIB).
Cindi believes that you can #MakeItHappen by keeping an open mind and having as many meaningful conversations as possible.
Anne Marie Miller is a San Francisco native and attended Northeastern University where she studied Psychology with an emphasis in Behavioral Neuroscience. Always interested in what made people happy and human behavior she took a co-op internship with EY in Campus Recruiting in Boston. Upon graduating in 2016, she relocated with EY and moved to New York City where she started full time with the firm. She now leads recruiting efforts at New York University and several Advisory service lines at the firm.
She #MakesItHappen by not settling for the status quo and being empowered to bring her authentic self to work each day.

Discuss the differences among ESG integration, socially responsible investing, and impact investing, and learn about Vanguard’s unique approach to stewardship and their key principles through an interactive exercise exploring a timely controversial ESG topic.
Brittany Meloy is an analyst on Vanguard’s Investment Stewardship team, responsible for voting and engagement with Vanguard’s portfolio companies in the consumer and healthcare sectors. She joined Vanguard as a high-net-worth client representative in 2013 after graduating from NYU’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study with a concentration in The Culture of Business in China.
Sarah Friedman Hersh is a Senior Strategist on Vanguard’s Investment Stewardship team. In her role, she leads executive and board-level engagement on topics including board composition, risk and strategy oversight, executive compensation, and governance structures for companies in the utilities, energy, industrials, materials, and telecommunications sectors. She earned her MBA from the Yale School of Management and her BA in International Studies from Kenyon College.

This workshop aims to introduce a variety of careers within the finance sector, key terms commonly found in these roles and general communication etiquette for Wall Street jobs to help you ace your interview.
Linda Wu was born in Memphis, TN and moved to New York in 2010 to attend New York University. She graduated from NYU’s College of Arts and Sciences in 2014 with a major in Economics and double minors in Business Studies and Psychology. Through NYU Wasserman, she participated in Mizuho’s summer internship program in 2013 and now currently works there full-time as an Associate in North American Banking.
Zoé Macias is a first year analyst in Equity Capital Markets at Mizuho Securities. She graduated with a bachelors in Business and Political Economy from NYU Stern in 2018. Prior to college, she grew up as a expat, graduating high school in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Jane Somuah is an Analyst at Mizuho Securities. Jane is from Miami, Florida and graduated from NYU Stern School of Business in 2016 where she doubled majored in Finance and Politics. Jane #MakesItHappen by staying laser-focused on her goals.
Christina Zhang, CFA joined Mizuho in February 2017 in the Corporate Research Department, leading coverage of the global Health Care and Real Estate sectors, where she is responsible for subject matter expertise and financial analysis to influence credit investment decisions as well as client BizDev and strategic decisions. Prior to Mizuho, she worked at Green Street Advisors and Morgan Stanley. In 2012, Christina received a B.S. in Economics, concentrating in Finance at The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania after completing her studies within three years. Christina is a major foodie (first to support new businesses) and daredevil (skydiving, scuba diving, snowboarding), all the while balancing her responsibilities of being a new mom.
Kinnary Armstrong is a Vice President in Mizuho’s Industrials investment banking coverage team, focusing on the Capital Goods, Machinery, and Transportation industry sectors. Previously Kinnary held positions at Credit Agricole and JPMorgan. Kinnary graduated from Boston College with a degree in Finance and Economics and minored in History. She is from Forest Hills, NY and originally from New Jersey.
Jackie Xu is an associate in Debt Capital Markets at Mizuho Securities. She covers investment grade financial institutions and real estate companies. Prior to Mizuho, Jackie worked in Debt Capital Markets at the Royal Bank of Scotland. Jackie graduated from Duke University, majoring in economics and public policy.
