Caty Truei is a Vice President in the Restructuring & Finance Group within the Investment Banking Division at Barclays. Caty has focused her career on advising, selling, buying and financing companies in all stages of stress and distress. She is Senior Captain of the NYU Banking Recruiting Team and is actively involved in recruiting, diversity, and mentorship efforts to recruit, promote, and retain diverse talent across the firm.

Claire O'Connor is a Managing Director and Head of Loan Capital Markets & Acquisition Finance in the Americas at Barclays. She is responsible for the origination and structuring of corporate and acquisition financings for major corporate clients, and has led a number of the largest global capital raises in the industry.

Natasha Patel is an Assistant Vice President in the High Yield Credit Sales Group within the Markets Division of the Investment Bank at Barclays. Natasha is primarily focused on trading high yield corporate bonds with institutional clients such as insurance companies, pension funds, mutual funds, and hedge funds. She is actively involved in the Barclays’ Women’s Network, Georgetown recruiting, Barclays’ Human Capital Program, and technology efforts within the Credit group.

The workshop presented by Guggenheim Partners, LLC Talent Management Group will focus on Networking – why do it, the benefits you can expect, and techniques for improving your approach. In particular, we will discuss how women can develop meaningful and productive relationships through better networking.
Gen Kapoor is a Vice President of Talent Planning and Strategy at Guggenheim Partners who focuses on creating and implementing strategies for enhancing career development, performance management and recruiting across the Firm. She also manages the internal relationships for temporary hiring and often represents the firm in recruiting and diversity functions. She is a steering committee member of the Women’s Inclusion and Innovation Network aimed at promoting gender transparency and managerial accountability in recruiting, retaining and advancing female talent. Gen joined the Firm in March 2016 as an HR Business Partner supporting Guggenheim Securities.
Prior to Guggenheim, Gen worked at JP Morgan as an HR Business Partner in its Asset Management business. Before that, she was initially on the recruiting team and then transitioned into an HR Associate role servicing the HR for HR and Securities groups of Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Before joining the financial sector, Gen spent several years in the non-profit sector working to eradicate poverty and homelessness in New York City and remains committed to these causes today. Gen holds and MPA and BA from John Jay College in New York City.
Erin King is a Senior Managing Director for Guggenheim Partners, LLC and serves as the Senior Advisor to Global Talent. In her role she partners with the Global Human Resources Team, Affinity Groups, Brand Marketing and Communications, as well as stakeholders across multiple business units, to design, deliver and continuously improve enterprise-wide talent initiatives, with a focus on securing gains in diversity and inclusion, career, performance management, and leadership development.
Currently, Ms. King also supports the Chief Legal Officer to manage the operations of the legal and compliance department, with a focus on human capital components such as diversity and inclusion and employee engagement.
Ms. King has held multiple roles during her long tenure at Guggenheim and previously served as the Co-Head of Institutional Compliance for Guggenheim Investments, the Chief Compliance Officer (“CCO”) for Guggenheim Partners Investment Management and subsequently was the CCO for Guggenheim Investment Advisers, LLC. She also held the position of CCO at Transamerica Asset Management, the registered investment companies it advises, and simultaneously held the position of Chief Risk Officer.
She started her financial services career at FINRA as a Compliance Examiner and has held roles in compliance at Citigroup Asset Management and at Western Asset Management Company. Ms. King is a graduate of Florida State University and New York Law School.
